Brenda (Sandberg) Gardner, age 57, of Reading, MA, passed away peacefully on February 12 at home surrounded by her loved ones after a long battle with cancer.
Brenda was born on July 13, 1965, in Milton, MA. She is preceded in death by her parents Ronald and Ellen (Jensen) Sandberg. Brenda was a member of Reading High School graduating class of 1983. She went on to marry Stephen F. Gardner in 1985. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, who loved cooking, cheering on her favorite team: The Patriots, and spending time with family.
Brenda is survived by her husband Stephen, along with their children Deanna Gardner of Woburn and her partner Michael Landry, Kayla Gardner and her husband Derek Terchiak of Tewksbury, Angela (Gardner) Jutras and her husband Mathew of Pembroke, NH, and Andrew Gardner and his fiancée Nicole Ferrante of Billerica. Brenda is also survived by her grandchildren Dominik, Jayson, Maxine, Sarah, and Jackson, in addition to many other loving family members.
Those who would like to gather to honor Brenda’s memory are invited to join her family in a celebration of life on Friday, February 17 at 10am-12pm followed by a brief service at the Douglass Edgerley & Bessom Funeral Home, 25 Sanborn St. (corner of Woburn St.) in Reading MA.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, 3 Speen St. Framingham, MA 01701, in Brenda’s honor.
