1956 – 2023
SELFRIDGE, Ellen of Gloucester, MA, formerly of Reading, MA, passed away after an illness on February 2, 2023. She was an avid reader, and she enjoyed baking, playing games, quilting and sewing, and going to Wingaersheek Beach and the White Mountains.
She was the daughter of John E. and Evelyn M. Selfridge (deceased of Reading, MA). She is survived by her wife and partner of 28 years, Mary Duncan of Gloucester, MA; her surviving sisters: Barbara Bagge and husband, Carl of Stoneham, MA, Diane Boveri and husband, Gerald of Lynn,
MA, and Joan Stearns and husband, Douglas of Hampton, NH; and her nieces and nephews: John, Jennifer, Richard, Jason, and Marc, as well as many great-nieces and nephews. She was the niece of many aunts and uncles, and cousin to many.
To honor Ellie’s request, there will be no services.
