Diane M. Merisotis of Reading passed away at the NuPath Group Home in Lynnfield, Massachusetts, on January 23, 2023. She was 70 years of age. Diane was born in Melrose, Massachusetts, on June 16, 1952.
Diane was the cherished daughter of the late Alice M. (Ross) Abbott and George Merisotis. She was the cherished step-daughter of the late Ralph F. Abbott, Sr. She was the devoted sister of Mary Capozzi and her husband Dominic of Melrose, Sandra Nuttall and her husband Thomas of Milton, FL, Ralph F. “Chip” Abbott. Jr. and his wife Patricia of Wilmington, Gail Merrill and her husband Edward of South Berwick, ME, Peter and Ernie Merisotis, both of Pennsylvania. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held for Diane at the Douglass, Edgerley, and Bessom Funeral Home, 25 Sanborn St. (corner of Woburn St.) Reading on Saturday, January 28 from 10:00am-12:00pm followed by a funeral service celebrating her life at the funeral home at 12:00pm. Burial will follow at Wood End Cemetery in Reading.
