Susan A. Urquhart, 78, of Reading, passed away Tuesday evening, October 25, 2022, at the Hunt Nursing & Retirement Home in Danvers. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Loran and Anne (Baylis) Logan.
Ms. Urquhart had been employed as a Real Estate Agent for Century 21 Avon Associates for many years.
Family was extremely important to Susan; she doted on and adored her grandchildren immensely. She also enjoyed taking the time during the holidays to bake for her family. Susan was an avid Boston sports fan, she especially loved watching the Red Sox who she lovingly nicknamed “the bums” and adored Fenway Park. Susan could often be found walking the “Back Shore” in Gloucester, enjoying a slice of Regina’s Pizza, and drinking a “cold one”.
Susan is survived by her daughter, Lisa Hamblin and her husband Dave Passamonte of Brookline, NH; her son, Michael Urquhart and his wife Jessica of Danvers; three grandchildren, Cristina Urquhart, Meagan Hamblin and Angelica Murato; one great grandchild, Esma Yilmaz; two sisters, Lee Johnson and her husband Norman of Saugus, one brother, Ted Logan of Newton, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Jean DeZenzo and her husband Frank of Newburyport, a sister in law, Pat Logan of Newton.
A Celebration of her Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Susan’s name may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N.
