Obituary: Rosalie (Valliere) Senior, 77

Rosalie (Valliere) Senior, 77, of Bridgton Maine, formally of North Reading, passed away in Chandler Arizona on September 30, 2021 after years of her battle with Aphasia. She had her only child Dana Campaniello by her side. Her beloved husband of 37 years James Senior took great care of her until he passed in June 7, 2020. She was the daughter of Lewis and Rose (Fettuccia) Valliere and was raised & graduated in Douglas. Rosalie was Selectman and was on the Conservation Committee and historical society and coached her daughter’s basketball team in North Reading. She was an independent woman and enjoyed working at Baybanks, Wilmington Ford, and Physical Sciences Incorporated (PSI). She loved working in her garden & was a member of the African violet association which she won awards. She adored her cats. She enjoyed traveling with her husband & friends. She absolutely loved having friends & family over for Christmas Eve and made sure she had gifts for everyone. She also never forgot anyone’s birthdays.

She is survived by her daughter Dana Campaniello, step-children Kelly & Andrew Senior, step-grandchildren Gwen & Danielle Gaiser, her brother Joseph Valliere & wife Kelly & niece Jessica & nephews Anthony Nathaniel Zachery & their families, Aunt Viola Fettuccia and cousin Donna (Fettuccia) Templeton and numerous family & great friends.

Rosalie is predeceased by many relatives, including her uncle Patrick Fettuccia and his son Patrick & cousin Paul Valliere.

Her memorial funeral mass will be held Wednesday, October 26 at 10am in St. Denis Church, 27 Manchaug St. Douglas MA. A private Cremation burial will follow at St. Denis Cemetery. There will be no visiting hours.
