CLEMENTS, Lauraine Rita – age 94, of Yarmouth, passed away on Wednesday, September 7th, 2022, at Valley Regional Hospital. Born February 4th, 1928, in Reading, Massachusetts, she was a daughter of the late John and Mable (Doucette) LeFave. Lauraine loved life. She was always smiling and always stopped to comment on how beautiful the flowers were wherever she went.
She enjoyed traveling down south and to PEI. She loved square and line dancing, camping, rappie pie, and her shoe collection, some not ever worn. fancied her diamonds and jewelry and what she would call “a good ounce” socially, with friends and family.
She is survived by her children, Marilyn (Melvin) Cottreau, Sandra (Marshall) Beavers, Barbara (Donnie) Boudreau; siblings, Geraldine Muise and Paul LaFave; grandchildren Carolyn Snow, Terry Cottreau, Dawn Brannen, and Kelly Stang; great-grandchildren Rowan Snow, Emma Snow, Isaac Cottreau, Noah Cottreau, Liam Cottreau, Samuel Stang and Zavier Stang. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by siblings John LeFave Jr., Jenette LeBlanc, and Huburt LeFave.
A visitation will take place on Monday, September 12, from 6 to 8 p.m., with prayers at 7 p.m., at Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Yarmouth. A funeral Mass will take place Tuesday, September 13th at 1 p.m., from St. Ambrose Co-Cathedral, with interment to follow at Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Yarmouth. Father Pat O’Meara officiating.
