Barry David Irmer, 52, died unexpectedly Sunday, August 21, 2022, in Reading, MA. He was born in Danvers, MA, and was the son of Gerard and the late Jean (Robinson) Irmer. He is survived by his cherished sons, John and Kevin and their loving mother Karen Murphy, sister Debra Fuss and her husband David; his nieces and nephews Jenny Fuss and James, Jack, and Kate Murphy; best friends John and Carrie Dwyer; and many other close friends and extended family.
Barry was loved by all and known as a great guy. He was a longtime youth baseball coach in Cooperstown and loved coaching his sons in Reading. Barry was a graduate of Masconomet High School in Boxford, MA. He worked in sales, most recently at EcoLab.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, August 25, 2022, from 1:30pm-3pm followed by a brief service at Reading Memorial High School in the Performing Arts Center, 62 Oakland Road, Reading, MA.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that remembrances be made in the form of contributions to the GoFundMe page to support the boys in their future endeavors.
