Ronald J. “Ron” Steenbruggen of Reading July 31, 2022. Beloved husband of Dianne E. (Morgan) Steenbruggen. Devoted father of Derek J. Steenbruggen and his wife Meghan of Chester, NH; Danielle J. Steenbruggen and her companion Carl Decotis of Peabody; and Brett R. Steenbruggen and his wife Rebecca of Chester, NH. Loving grandfather of Aislyn, Nathan, Jacob, Evelyn and Carly. Cherished brother of Nancy Thresher and her husband Clem of Tewksbury; John Steenbruggen and his wife Carol of Wilmington; Kenny Steenbruggen and his wife Nancy of Norwell; James Steenbruggen and his wife Kristin of Reading; Patricia Neary and her husband Chuck of Reading; and the late Gerrit Steenbruggen and Richard Steenbruggen and his surviving spouse Martha of N. Reading. Son of the late Gerrit and Lorraine (Murray) Steenbruggen. Ronald is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visiting hours will be held at the Douglass, Edgerley and Bessom Funeral Home 25 Sanborn St. (corner of Woburn St.) Reading on Thursday, August 4 from 4-8pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, August 5 at 11am. Burial is private.
