MALDEN, MA – Malden Catholic announced today that Alexa Hingston has been hired as the Girls Varsity Hockey Coach. A native of Charlestown, Alexa has a successful history on the ice as a member of the Austin Prep hockey program and all-scholastic player at St. Anselm’s College and hockey team captain during her junior and senior years. She began her coaching career as an assistant at Austin Prep when they won the MIAA State Championship in 2016 and has served as Head Coach at Division I Reading High School since 2017. Hingston has also been head coach with both the Islanders and Boston American’s Hockey Clubs.
