William A. Webster, Jr. of Stoneham, formerly of Reading, passed away peacefully at his home on April 17, 2022. He was 83 years of age. Bill was born in Boston, Massachusetts, on September 18, 1938, the son of the late William A. and Elizabeth (Lyons) Webster.
Bill was the beloved husband of 59 years of Ann M. (Brooks) Webster. Devoted father of William P. Webster and his wife Sandra Williams of Weymouth, Thomas M. Webster of Wakefield, Susan M. O’Connor and her husband Tim, and Laura A. Lewis and son-in-law James Lewis all of Reading. Cherished brother of Richard Webster and his wife Barbara of Braintree and the late Robert Webster and his wife Joni of Hingham. Loving grandfather of Collin, Devon, Jacqueline, and Mary Lewis; Daniel and Grace O’Connor. Bill is also survived by many cousins, nephews, and nieces and friends.
Bill’s funeral will be held from the Douglass, Edgerley and Bessom Funeral Home 25 Sanborn St. (corner of Woburn St.) Reading on Friday, April 22 at 9:30am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Agnes Church 186 Woburn St. Reading at 10:30am. Burial to follow at Wood End Cemetery, Reading. Funeral home visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 4:00-7:00pm.

William proudly served his country in the U.S. Army.
