Sealed Bids for the Town of Reading, Massachusetts, Replacement of Turf II Renovation, will be received by www.bidnetdirect.com until 2:00 PM, March 22, 2022.
The work under this contract consists of renovation of the playing field Turf II within the Town of Reading.

A Prebid meeting/site walk is scheduled for February 17, 2022, at 11 am. The meeting will begin at Reading memorial High School 62 Oakland Road, Reading, MA 01867 on Turf II, behind the stadium bleachers, accessed by the high school parking lot.
Each Bid shall be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and shall be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount Bid. The successful Bidder must furnish a Payment Bond and Performance Bond satisfactory in form to the Town, each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Amount from a surety authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and acceptable to the Town.
It is the responsibility of prospective proposers and or bidders to check that they have received all addenda.

Wage rates for this project are subject to the minimum wage rates as per M.G.L., Chapter 149, Sections 26 to 27H inclusive, as amended. The bidding and award of this Contract will be under the provisions of M.G.L., Chapter 30, Section 39M, as amended.
Bids shall be awarded to the lowest responsible and eligible bidder offering the lowest price. The Town of Reading reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any and all bids, for any reason the Town Manager determines to be in the Town’s and/or the public’s best interest.
