Obituary: Nicole Anne Pustorino, 27

May 25, 1994 – October 29, 2021

Nicole Anne Pustorino, a lifelong resident of Reading, passed away on October 29th, 2021.  She was a warm, sensitive, talented, and incredibly loving mother that was taken away from us too soon. She was 27 years young. Nicole succumbed to a long personal battle – but not without a courageous fight. The illness that took Nicole was never the essence of who she was. Nicole loved spending time with family and loved ones, especially on the serene beaches of Gloucester and   Wells, Maine.   She loved making people look beautiful through her hair and make-up enhancement talents. Her love for animals was unmatched, as evidenced by the ever growing number of kittens that Nicole always found room for to give a home to. Nicole lit up every room she walked into and made it a point to make everyone around her feel loved and welcomed.  Above all else, the most important thing to Nicole was spending time and having fun with her son Nicholas.

Nicole was the devoted mother of Nicholas Alejunas, the cherished daughter of Frank and Connie (Stagnitto) Pustorino, the loving sister of Frankie Pustorino, his fiancée Sherry Duggan and Joey Pustorino, aunt of Holden Pustorino and loving fur-mother of her kitten Blue, all of Reading. Nicole also leaves behind many aunts, uncles and cousins, and Vito and Christine Alejunas of Wakefield, grandparents of Nicholas.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 12th, at the Douglass, Edgerley and Bessom Funeral Home, located at 25 Sanborn Street (on the corner of Woburn Street) in Reading at 12:00 PM.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend and share their love and memories of Nicole.  The burial will follow at Wood End Cemetery in Reading. Visiting hours for Nicole will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday, November 11th, from 5-8PM.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Nicholas Alejunas College Fund 21 Lewis St. Reading Ma. 01867.
