Alan Foulds is a local historian who has written several historically related articles in addition to his book, “Boston’s Ballparks &  Arenas.” He is a major contributor to the writing of “At Wood End.” Mr. Foulds is also Reading’s Town Moderator.

Sports fan or not, you’ve heard of Fenway Park. The history and trivia buffs can add Braves Field and, maybe even, the Huntington Avenue Grounds to the list, but nearly no one has any knowledge of Lincoln Park, the hub of Boston’s Black Baseball.
