Peter J. Letourneau, a two-year resident of East Lansing, Michigan, formerly of Reading and Lawrence, died September 10, 2021, at Sparrow Health Systems in Lansing, Michigan. He was 70 years of age.
Peter was born in Methuen, Massachusetts on June 15, 1951, the son of the late Alain and Rita (Myers) Letourneau. Peter worked as the Assistant Supervisor of Environmental Services for New England Rehab in Woburn for over twenty years prior to working for St. Agnes Church as a custodian for 13 years.
Peter was the beloved husband of AnneMarie (LaFreniere) Letourneau. Devoted father of Lisa A. Boys and her husband Christopher of Shirley and Suzanne Summers and her husband Jonathan of DeWitt, MI. Cherished brother of Philip C. Letourneau and his wife Deborah of Shrewsbury. Loving grandfather of Ethan, Jack and Rose Summers.
Peter’s funeral will be held from the Douglass, Edgerley and Bessom Funeral Home 25 Sanborn St. (corner of Woburn St.) Reading on Friday, September 17 at 9:30 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Agnes Church 186 Woburn St. Reading at 10:30 am. Burial will follow at Lakeside Cemetery, Wakefield. Funeral Home visiting hours will be Thursday from 4-7pm.
