The Town of Reading is accepting Sealed Bids for the ROAD RESURFACING AND RELATED WORK Project 21-22.
The work under this contract consists of performing roadway resurfacing work including but not limited to paving, cold planning, reclamation, and grading at various locations throughout the Town.
This project is being Electronically Bid (E-Bid). All bids shall be submitted online to www.BidNetDirect.com prior to June 3, 2021 at 1:00 p.m.
Bid Documents will be available after 9 a.m. on May 20, 2021.
A bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount Bid is required. As well as a Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond satisfactory in form to the Town if the contract is awarded.

Prevailing Wage Rates (MGL C 149, Section 26 to 27D, as amended, apply to this project).
The bidding and award of this Contract will be under the provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 30, Section 39M.
The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all Bids if deemed to be in its best interest.
