After the polls closed on November 3, it was discovered that the hand-counted ballots of Precinct 2 inadvertently were mixed with the counted ballots. They had not been counted at that point. Therefore, I have contacted the Secretary of the Commonwealth Elections Division and requested the ability to conduct an Audit of Precinct 2. This Audit will take place on November 13th at 9:00 AM until complete. The location will be the Reading Memorial High School Field House. This Audit is being conducted to ensure that all of the ballots have been properly counted.
Observers will be allowed to witness this Audit, keeping social distancing in mind; therefore, the number of observers may be limited.
