To the Editor:
I am writing to support my friend, Carla Nazzaro, who is running for one of the 3-year positions on the school committee. Carla brings valuable experience at the high school level and beyond, with two children currently in college and another a senior at Reading High. This will be incredibly important for upcoming efforts to develop a vision of the graduate.
She also has professional expertise in project management, with experience in setting goals, crafting budgets and measuring the impact of new initiatives. In addition, she offers fresh ideas on improving communication and strengthening district policies to promote a culture of tolerance and respect.
A longtime Reading resident and school and community volunteer, Carla cares deeply about ensuring that all Reading students receive the best possible education in a caring and supportive environment. Her slogan, “Our children, Our community, Our future”, perfectly describes her motivation and priorities.
I hope you will join me in voting for Carla Nazzaro for School Committee on March 3rd!
