Good Afternoon,

For those that do not know me, my name is Chris Scozzari. I am a long time Reading resident, a member of St. Athanasius Church (and parish council), and a former RUSC soccer coach. My wife, Rosalee, and I chose to raise our 3 children in Reading because of the school system. I now have two daughters in college, and my son is a freshman at RMHS.

I wanted to share my thoughts with you on Carla Nazzaro, 2020 Candidate for School Committee. I have known Carla for many years, initially through St. Athanasius Church and later through other activities in the community. For as long as I have known her, Carla has always been about family and community. From her volunteer activities to her fearlessly and respectfully speaking out on issues in our community, she has been someone I can reach out to on issues concerning our town. Since I’ve known her, Carla has always presented herself as someone who genuinely cares. In recent years I have worked with Carla in her efforts to improve the district’s response to bullying by bringing concerns to the superintendent and the School Committee.

I am proud to call Carla a friend and to support her for the Reading School Committee. She brings a strong foundation of family values and putting her children first. On top of that foundation, she brings a kind and caring common sense approach to issues that concern our town’s children and treating them with the same caring concern as she does for her own children.

Carla’s dedication to our kids is unparalleled. Again, please join me in voting for Carla Nazzaro for Reading School Committee in this upcoming election on March 3rd.

Thank you.
