David K. Johnson Foundation to Host Sixth Annual Aine’s Boutique Fashion Show

Benefit for the David K. Johnson Foundation

Reading, MA -– The Sixth Annual Aine’s Boutique Fashion Show to benefit the David K. Johnson Foundation is scheduled for November 15, 2019, at Austin Preparatory School in Reading, MA. The event has been a staple fundraiser for the David K. Johnson Foundation and has grown year after year.

The David K. Johnson Foundation was established by the Johnson brothers, Bruce and Gregg, in 2001 shortly after their father was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. After seeing the impact this disease not only had on the patient but the caretaker as well, they wanted to assist in any way they could to prevent this awful disease from affecting more individuals. They strive to raise money and awareness to cure Alzheimer’s and support families affected by this disease. The David K. Johnson Foundation contributes to three main organizations; the Cure Alzheimer’s Fund, the Susan and David Johnson Memorial Scholarship and Community Programming to support those affected.

Guests attending the event will enjoy an opening cocktail reception featuring live music by Natalie Joly. In addition, each guest will receive a gift bag, valued at over $200, filled with amazing products and discounts from various local brands and companies. Guests will be able to mingle and network in the beautiful cocktail style reception while enjoying an open bar sponsored by Tito’s, Sam Adams and Truly Hard Seltzer as well as numerous food options including; The Horseshoe Grille, Harrows Chicken Pies, Biltmore, and Main, Laurie’s 909 Catering and Cupcake City. The Fashion Show will feature two 30-minute walks filled with seasonal styles, all available for purchase at Aine’s Boutique in Reading. Guests will also have the ability to shop on-site, not only at Aine’s Boutique but at various other pop-ups from local businesses.
