The Reading Public Library invites children and teens of the community to participate in its spring Book Mates program. Book Mates is a reading buddy program partnering children grades 1-4 with a teen volunteer. The goal is to give children the opportunity to practice their reading skills in a fun way with an attentive teen. Online applications accepted March 1-15 for interested children and teens (grades 6-12) wanting to volunteer.
