Reading, MA -– The Reading-North Reading Chamber of Commerce’s 27th Annual Holiday Lighting Festival will take place on Sunday, November 25 from 2 pm to 4:30 pm in Reading Square. The celebration will include Santa photos, a horse-drawn hayride, trolley rides, live entertainment and performances, a bounce house, strolling characters, live ice sculptures, great food, and more. The Festival will culminate at dusk when Santa and his elves officially light the Town Square for the holiday season.
Each year, the Chamber hosts over 1,000 people at the Lighting Festival to celebrate the local community and highlight Reading’s charming downtown area. “The Annual Holiday Lighting Festival is a great family event to ring in the holiday season,” said Chamber President Shanna Cahalane. “The event has been a favorite of Reading families for years and we’re thrilled to continue the tradition with the help of our generous sponsors, local businesses, and town departments.”
