Love to sing? Always wanted to be part of a large musical ensemble? Join one of the Greater Boston area’s premier community choruses and do it in style! With an extensive repertoire including music from popular to classical, Broadway to Nashville, The Reading Community Singers will be starting their next session on Tuesday, January 24, 2017. Rehearsals are held every Tuesday evening from 7:30 to 9:30 PM at the Old South United Methodist Church, 6 Salem Street, Reading, MA. Registration starts at 6:45 PM during the first three open rehearsal weeks in January. Membership dues are $70 per person, payable by cash or check, due by third rehearsal.
This year’s spring concert will be held on May 6, 2017. Besides presenting an annual holiday and spring concert, The Reading Community Singers have recently traveled to New York City for performances at the Statue of Liberty and at the top of the Empire State Building. They have also performed the National Anthem for many area sports teams including The Lowell Spinners and The New England Revolution.
