There’s lots to do in Reading to get you in the holiday spirit this month! Check out the list below for a list of family friendly activities in your community. We’ll be updating this list throughout the season.
Annual Tree Lighting
Join your community at the annual tree lighting ceremony November 27 from 2:00 – 4:30 p.m. on the town common. Activities include Jenny the Juggler, live ice sculpting, and live music. Find out more on the Chamber of Commerce website.
Shop local on Thursday, December 1st from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m in Downtown Reading. Participating businesses include Goodhearts, the Hitching Post, The Chocolate Truffle, The Art Lounge, Pamplemousse, Salon Fringe, and many more. For more information check out their Facebook page.
Reading Community Singers
The Reading Community Singers will host their annual holiday concert on Saturday December 3, at 7:30 p.m. and on Sunday December 4, at 3:00 p.m. at the Old South Church in downtown Reading. Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for students and seniors. Tickets may be purchased online through the RCS website.
Quannapowitt Players
The annual New Play Festival fundraiser will continue December 1, 2, and 3. Tickets are $20. For more information see the QP website.
