The RMHS Marching Band and Color Guard will be one of fifteen bands from across Massachusetts who will be performing October 22 in Reading. The event starts at 4:00 p.m. and concludes with an Awards Ceremony at 8:05 p.m. The Reading Rockets Marching Band performs at 6:00 p.m. The show is sponsored by NESBA, the New England Scholastic Band Association, a group organized to promote excellence in marching band, instrumental group, and color guard performance.
One single entrance fee ($10 Adult, $8 Student/Senior) allows the audience to come and go as needed. The Snack Shack will be open with a full selection of food and beverages. There will also be a 50/50 Raffle for anyone feeling lucky, and souvenir items for sale at the Band Booth to support the program.
This is a fun evening for all, and a great experience for younger children who might be considering band or guard in high school. Come prepared to be amazed at the performers’ dedication, the props and costumes, the music and performances, and the great food.
