We are honored to host noted historian and public speaker Stephen Puleo for a reading and discussion centered on his recent publication, The Great Abolitionist: Charles Sumner and the Fight for a More Perfect Union.

Join us at Reading 4th Annual Pride Parade and Celebration! Watch the parade from one of our cheering stations, anywhere along the route, or at the Town Common. After, we will gather in the Common with music, games, Bubbles McGee, and other surprises! Happy Pride!

Singer-Songwriter Joe Jencks returns to the Linden Tree. He’s a national favorite writing songs from the heart and performing them with strong musicality. Opening is Winter Potpourri Winner 2023 Sam Bayer.

Since 2004, The Reading Lions Club has sponsored and organized Reading Friends and Family Day (RFFD) as a kick off to summer. RFFD is a celebration of Reading and brings the community together for a day full of fun events enjoyed by all ages. Community members come for the food, crafts, games, giveaways, entertainment, and to learn about your organization or business!

On Sunday, June 9th Alex will be hosting his first Big Benefit Music Show at Memorial Park in Reading, MA from 1:30 to 4:30! The show will feature performances from some very hardworking and talented youth bands including the Alpha Band, The Blue Spotlight, Knockout and other special guests. At the event he will be collecting donations for two very special charities, Cradles to Crayons Massachusetts and Music Will (formerly Little Kids Rock) as well as canned goods for the Reading Food Pantry. So please mark your calendars and join us for a great afternoon of music for charity!
