SUMMARY:Whitelam Books to Host Book Launch with Children’s Author Monica Acker
DESCRIPTION:Whitelam Books is delighted to welcome back children’s author Monica Acker as she celebrates her new picture book\, Pirate Baby: A Booty-ful Tale\, on Saturday\, September 19 at 3:00 PM. Join us for this family-friendly event for readers of all ages. Whitelam Books is located in downtown Reading at 610 Main Street\, near the intersection of Haven Street and Main Street. \nBooks will be available for purchase and signing. This event is free and open to the public – all are welcome! \nAbout the Event: \nJoin us as we welcome longtime friend\, Reading neighbor\, and author Monica Acker to celebrate her new book\, Pirate Baby: A Booty-ful Tale. \nCally is a fearsome pirate captain who takes whatever she wants without giving. Her crew does everything to please her\, but when Cally fishes an ordinary houseplant from the sea\, the other pirates have no idea how to keep it perky and green like Cally orders. What is a pirate baby to do? \nWith its silly humor and bright\, bold illustrations\, Pirate Baby bursts with kid appeal—a funny\, insightful story about giving and growing. It’s perfect for little captains everywhere.
