SUMMARY:Local Food Drive by Creative Arts
DESCRIPTION:Reading\, MA — Help us help our neighbors. The Reading Food Pantry is partnering with Creative Arts in a food drive from November 7 to November 21 to help local neighbors and families with food needs\, especially during this holiday season. Food can be dropped off in bins outside the Creative Arts office located at 25 Woburn Street in Reading. \nSuggested food items: stuffing mix\, instant mashed potatoes\, canned or jarred cranberry sauce\, canned or jarred vegetables\, rice\, canned or boxed milk\, oil\, jarred gravy\, canned or boxed broth\, canned ham\, dinner rolls\, instant cornbread mix. Also\, ready-made desserts like pies\, cakes\, and cookies are also welcome. \nStop-n-Shop or Market Basket gift cards in any denomination are also accepted\, so that meat\, fresh fruit\, and vegetables can be purchased. \nCreative Arts will drop off donated food items to the Reading Food Pantry on November 22\, 2025\, in time for the holiday week. \nFor more information\, you may contact the Creative Arts office at (781) 942-9600 or director@weteachcreativearts.org.

SUMMARY:Reading Art Association Autumn Art Exhibit And Sale Returns in November
DESCRIPTION:The Reading Art Association Autumn Show will be held the weekend of November 7th and 8th\, featuring artwork by over 90 artist members from surrounding towns and cities. \nThe show will take place at the First Congregational Church in Reading on Friday\, Nov. 7th\, from 7:30 – 9:30\, and Saturday\, Nov. 8th\, from 10:00 – 3:00. Entrance to the show is through the side door of the church on Sanborn Street. \nOriginal works of framed and unframed art will be on display and available for purchase throughout the weekend. \nThere will be a raffle for a framed painting by Carolyn Latanision. The winner does not need to be present to win when the lucky ticket is drawn on Saturday. \nThis will be a wonderful show put on by some very talented artists. The Reading Art Association is starting its 62nd year promoting art. Reception and winners announced at 8:30 on Friday. For more info\, go to readingart.org
