Taking place from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at the iconic bandstand on the Wakefield Common\, this outdoor event is expected to draw hundreds of attendees from Wakefield and surrounding towns. \nThe festival will showcase the beauty and richness of Jewish culture in a joyful\, family-friendly setting. Guests can look forward to klezmer music\, authentic Jewish food for sale\, local community vendors and businesses\, hands-on crafts and activities for all ages\, including a kids zone. The event is free and open to the public\, with advance ticket reservations encouraged at wakefieldjewishfestival.com. \n“This is a celebration of Jewish pride and tradition\,” said Rabbi Sruly Brook\, co-director of Chabad of Wakefield and organizer of the event. “In a time when antisemitism is rising\, we’re choosing to respond with joy\, with culture\, and with connection.” \nParking for the event will be available across the street at the First Parish Congregational Church lot located at 1 Church Street. Once that lot fills\, attendees are encouraged to park along nearby streets such as Main Street. Those within walking distance are highly encouraged to walk\, as foot traffic is expected to help ease congestion. \nWith strong community support and interest from neighboring towns\, the festival is shaping up to be a widely attended summer highlight.
