Being Jonas Wilder — A Solo Music-Theater Evening
At Unitarian Universalist Church of Reading on October 10th
Reading, MA — On Saturday, October 10th at 3:30 PM, the Unitarian Universalist Church of Reading and the Creative Humanity Alliance are co-presenting “Being Jonas Wilder” — a solo music-theater experience performed by singer-songwriter and author Mark Firehammer.
About the Show: It is a 70-minute event that is genuinely hard to categorize: part concert, part memoir, part something else entirely. Drawing on Firehammer’s novel The Echo and the Voice and album Songs in the Key of Return, the performance weaves together five original songs with the stories of what those songs were actually carrying in real time. Audiences come curious and tend to leave quiet — in a good way.
