Fall programs include Spanish conversation, bilingual storytime, Día de los Muertos activities, and more
Reading, MA—Fall starts on Tuesday! Turn over a new leaf and discover new world language programs and services at the Reading Public Library.
Beginning Wednesday, September 23, we’ll have a four-week informal Spanish Language Conversation Group where you can practice for a vacation or everyday situations. Then, on Thursday, September 24, you can learn more about allyship and issues facing our Latinx neighbors at a presentation with LUMA, Latinos Unidos en Massachusetts.
In October and November, there will be a bilingual Spanish/English storytime (with songs!) called Side-by-Side Storytime. And on November 5, join us for a special family-friendly movie and craft-making about Día de los Muertos, the Day of the Dead holiday celebrated in Mexico and throughout Latin America.
These programs complement our Beginner English class, Mandarin Storytime, and a growing collection of materials in world languages.
