Angela (Drainoni) Conover, a Reading resident for 66 years, passed away at the Residence at Pearl Street on August 1, 2026. She was 88 years of age.
Angela was born in Boston, Massachusetts on December 5, 1937, the daughter of the late Gaetano and Mary (Amico) Drainoni.
She met many members of the community in Reading, and some of her closest friends, during her 40 years behind the counter at Simms Jewelers in Reading.
Angela was the beloved wife of the late Fred L. Conover, devoted mother of Fred L. Conover Jr. and his wife Kathy of Meredith, NH, and Alyson J. Conover and her wife Mara Prentiss of Belmont. She was the loving grandmother of Elizabeth Conover-Prentiss.
Funeral services and burial for Angela are private, and there are no visiting hours.
