READING – State Representative Richard M. Haggerty (D-Woburn) celebrated the joy of reading and literacy by visiting the Wood End Elementary School in Reading, where he read to an enthusiastic group of 1st graders and engaged with students in a lively question-and-answer session before and after the reading.

“Helping kids fall in love with reading is one of the most important things we can do,” said Representative Haggerty. “The students at Wood End Elementary were engaged, sharp, and a joy to read to and spend time with. I hope today inspires a lifelong love for books and storytelling.”
