James Roth of The Commons in Lincoln, MA, and formerly from Reading, MA, died on Feb. 10, 2026, at the age of 93.
He was the devoted uncle of Charles Roth, Jr., married to Linda, in Bedford, MA, and Deborah Kisabeth, married to Larry, in Tiffin, Ohio. He was the great-uncle to Emily, Kathleen, C. Jay, Kiva, Robert, and Laura, and great-grand-uncle to Griffin, Bishop, Cade, and Quinn.
Jim had a fulfilling career as a music teacher at Reading Memorial High School, with additional engagements performing in musical productions and accompanying various choruses. He conducted the Reading Symphony for 16 years. Although music occupied most of his time, he enjoyed hiking and card playing, mostly bridge.
There are no visiting hours or services planned at present.
