Landscape Artist Hillary Scott to Demonstrate for Reading Art Association

Award-winning painter shares her oil landscape technique on February 11 at Guild Hall

Reading, MA — On February 11, 2026, the Reading Art Association will present Hillary Scott, who will demonstrate her oil landscape technique. Hillary is an academically trained landscape painter from Northeast Massachusetts.

She earned her BFA in studio art from UMass Lowell, with a concentration in illustration. She illustrated books for many years before transitioning to landscape painting. Hillary has an affinity for coastal scenes, wetlands, and finds endless inspiration in the New England landscape.

The demonstration will be held in Guild Hall at First Congregational Church, 1 Woburn Street, Reading. Entrance to the demo is the middle side door on Sanborn Street at 7:30 PM. Her website is hillaryscottfineart.com.
