BOSTON – State Representative Richard M. Haggerty (D-Woburn) is accepting applications for a Legislative Aide position to support his work on behalf of the 30th Middlesex District, representing parts of Reading and Woburn.

The Legislative Aide plays a critical role in helping Representative Haggerty with constituents and advancing legislative priorities that impact the local community. This position offers an exciting opportunity to engage directly with residents, address constituent concerns, and contribute to the legislative process at the State House.
The Legislative Aide will be responsible for, but not limited to, managing constituent casework and inquiries, coordinating with federal, state, and local government offices, and researching solutions to community concerns. The role includes supporting Representative Haggerty’s committee assignments, drafting and monitoring legislation, preparing testimony and legislative updates, maintaining the Representative’s schedule, and managing social media communications. The aide will also attend meetings and forums on behalf of the Representative and supervise interns. The Representative may assign other duties as well.
