National Lasagna Day
In celebration of National Lasagna Day on July 29, 2025, Governor Maura T. Healey and Lieutenant Governor Kimberley Driscoll have formally commended Lasagna Love for its ongoing commitment to fostering nutritional security, volunteerism, and community connection across the Commonwealth.
Lasagna Love’s impact in Massachusetts is both powerful and far-reaching. Since its inception, the organization’s volunteers have prepared and delivered nearly 41,000 homemade lasagnas, feeding more than 155,000 neighbors, including over 60,000 children.
“These numbers reflect the goodwill and charity of our state’s constituents, and we are incredibly proud of the work and advocacy that has gone into achieving such an accomplishment,” said Governor Healey.
“We are honored by this recognition from Governor Healey and Lt. Governor Driscoll,” said Andrea Scullin, State Director for Massachusetts. “It’s a tribute to every volunteer who has rolled up their sleeves to cook, deliver, and connect with their communities.”
As National Lasagna Day approaches, Lasagna Love invites everyone to celebrate the spirit of giving by volunteering, donating, or requesting a meal—because one lasagna can make a lasting difference.
