William H. Bridge, III, 71, of Reading, passed away peacefully at his residence on January 21, 2025. He was born in Melrose on November 7, 1953, and was the son of the late William H. Bridge Jr. and Virginia (Phinney) Bridge.
Bill was raised in Reading, where he attended the local public schools. He spent many years living in Wakefield and enjoyed a long and successful career in the information technology field.
He was the loving partner of the late Lynn Luciano, with whom he had shared many cherished years. True soulmates, they were perfectly made for one another. In her final years, he had cared for her with unwavering devotion and had deeply missed her every day since her passing in 2022.
Bill was passionate about live music and an enthusiastic supporter of many local bands. He especially enjoyed frequenting music venues with Barbara and his many friends. Bill also loved dining out with friends and taking trips to the casino, particularly with his friend Susan. He was an avid fan of the Boston Bruins and took great pleasure in attending their games.
He was the brother of Carol Pelosi and her husband Paul of Tewksbury, Lauri Azari of Houston, TX, and the late Valerie Bridge, Robin Williams, and Janet Polachek. He is also survived by his sister-in-laws Gerri Luke and Pam Samuelson, his brother-in-law, Brian Williams; and dear family friend Roger Nyren; as well as his beloved nieces and nephews, and countless dear friends. He also leaves behind his sweet cat, Speckles.
Bill will be remembered for his warmth, wit, and deep love for his family and friends. We can take comfort in knowing that he has left us to be reunited with his beloved Lynn once again.
