Harold E. Seaward, Jr., beloved husband of the late Carol (Doucette) Seaward, passed away on Tuesday, January 21st, 2025, at the age of 70. Born in Boston, he is the loving son of the late Harold and Gertrude (Keeler) Seaward.
Harold was a life long resident of Reading. A lover of traveling, Harold enjoyed cruises with his wife Carol and visiting places important in American History. Harold loved sports, especially the New England Patriots, which he was a season ticket holder for 38 years. Harold would also attend as many Super Bowl’s as he could. He was a lover of crossword puzzles, good music and spending time with his many friends and loving family. Harold will be deeply missed.
Harold is the cherished brother of Cynthia Seaward-Salvati and her husband Pasquale Seaward-Salvati of Moultonboro, New Hampshire and Catherine Goddard of North Reading. He is also survived by his cherished in-laws, Peter and Shirley Doucette of Reading, Laurie and Terry Sylvia of Sanbornville, NH, Gayle and Bob Bowers of Tewksbury, and Paul and Kristin Doucette of Reading.
Loving uncle of Joshua Goddard, Heather Goddard, Amanda Redmond and her husband Shayne, and Dustin Goddard, Jordan Seaward-Salvati, Dylan Seaward-Salvati and the late Jenna Seaward-Salvati, Bryan Doucette, Emily Doucette, Justin and his wife Amanda Sylvia, Brandon and his wife Ashley Sylvia, Jennifer Bowers and her husband Jimmy Petipas, and Kelly Bowers.
Great-uncle of Hudson and Hayes Redmond and their little sister, due any moment, Ava Sylvia, and Camden and Drew Sylvia.
Harold also leaves many dear friends and extended family.
Family and friends are cordially invited to visiting hours at the Cota Funeral Home, 335 Park St., North Reading (Corner of Park St. and Rt. 28 at the Reading Line) on Friday, January 24th, 2025 from 4 to 8pm.
A Funeral Service will be celebrated for Harold at the Funeral Home on Saturday, January 25th, 2025 at 11:00am. Burial will follow in Wood End Cemetery, Reading.
