September 23, 1972 – November 16, 2024
Christine B. Liebermann, of Reading, passed away from an illness on Saturday, November 16th. She was 52 years of age.
Christine was born in Melrose and raised in Reading. She was the beloved daughter of Ingrid (Hagberg) Liebermann and the late Peter Fredrick Liebermann. Christine graduated from Reading schools.
Later, Christine graduated from Quincy College. She took pride in her work as a caretaker for the disabled for many years, going above and beyond to take them on outings and give them top-notch care and compassion. Most recently, she worked as a CNA at Chelsea Jewish Life Care in Peabody.
Christine loved her family more than anything. She absolutely adored her nieces and nephews and supporting them in all of their interests. Family gatherings were always a highlight for her. Most recently, she enjoyed a summer barbecue with several cousins from here and overseas. She thoroughly enjoyed spoiling her cat, Luna with treats and playtime.
Christine enjoyed traveling, but her happy spot was her family’s summer cottage in Bridgton, Maine. There, she spent hours swimming, hiking, and kayaking. She loved nature and took pride in gardening, as well as photographing birds and flowers. She enjoyed a recent trip to Punta Cana with her mother, where she enjoyed the pool, beach, and relaxation.
Christine is survived by her mother Ingrid of Reading: her brother Karl and his wife Jennifer of Holliston; her sister, Karen Martignetti of Reading: and her brother-in-law Anthony Martignetti of Boston. She is also survived by her seven nieces and nephews, Sophia and Max Liebermann, Dylan Barnes, and Kayla, Anthony, Vincent, and Nicholas Martignetti; and her uncle, Donald Hagberg of Great Barrington. She also leaves behind several cousins and friends.
A funeral service will be held at the First Congregational Church, 25 Woburn St. in Reading on Saturday, November 23 at 11:00 am. Visitation will be prior to the service at church from 9:30-11:00 am. Burial will be at the Wood End Cemetery in Reading.
