Mary Jane (Driscoll) Nadeau of Woburn, formerly of Reading and North Reading, died on October 1, 2024.
Mary Jane was the beloved wife of David Nadeau for 52 beautiful years. Daughter of Jeremiah and Nora (Falvey) Driscoll. Sister of Jerry Driscoll and his wife Ann, and John Driscoll (deceased) and his wife Diane. Loving Aunt to Meghan Driscoll Grammel and husband Stefan, and Ryan Driscoll and wife Sara. Sister-in-law of Betty Nadeau and Donald Nadeau (deceased). Loving Aunt to Melissa Nadeau.
Mary Jane loved life and always showed it. Loved to ski and was an expert. Loved to play golf with David. She loved her friends. She was a real people person, and a great friend to have. Mary Jane was a highly-regarded teacher for 15 years. Parents insisted their child be put in her class. She then went into real estate for thirty plus years, where she created life-long friendships with customers, selling houses to their kids.
Visiting hours for Mary Jane will be held from the Douglass, Edgerley and Bessom Funeral Home 25 Sanborn St. (corner of Woburn St.) Reading on Friday, October 4 from 4-7pm. Her funeral will be held from the funeral home on Saturday, October 5 at 9:30am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Agnes Church 186 Woburn St. Reading at 10:30am. Burial is private.
