Town of Reading Launches the Redesign of Walkers Brook Drive Corridor

Community Invited to Participate in Walkers Brook Drive Redesign Meeting

READING, MA — The Town of Reading is holding a community meeting to gather feedback regarding the redesign of the Walkers Brook Drive Corridor. This important meeting is scheduled for February 6, 2024, at 7 p.m. and will be held at the Reading Public Library. For those unable to attend in person, a Zoom option is also available, ensuring all community members will have the opportunity to participate.

The Walkers Brook Drive Corridor has long been a vital part of the Reading community. As we look to the future, it is imperative that this area continues to evolve to meet the changing needs and aspirations of our residents and businesses. This community meeting is a key step in that process.

This meeting is more than just a discussion – it’s a collaborative effort to build a better future for our community. The project team will share the results of the community survey and present the initial design concepts for your feedback. Whether you join us in person or virtually, your voice and your vision are what will drive this project forward.

Participants’ feedback during the meeting will be gathered through a live survey and Q&A session. This information will guide the various aspects of the design concepts, ensuring it aligns with the character and culture of the neighborhood.
