Parking and Compost Stickers for Sale Beginning December 4

All Stickers Will Be Sold At The Reading Police Station

Reading, MA – Reading resident parking and compost stickers will be sold at the Reading Police Station at 15 Union Street beginning on December 4 at 8:30 A.M. The cost of the combined parking/compost sticker is $150. The cost of a compost sticker only is $25. The new resident parking sticker is effective January 1, 2018.

The Police Department will sell all stickers. They will not be available at any other town building. The acceptable forms of payment are as follows:

If paying by check: Checks for either sticker will be accepted in the dispatch center on the first floor of the station at any time. The Police Station is open 24 hours a day.

If paying by cash: Cash payments of $25 for compost stickers will be accepted in the dispatch center on the first floor of the station at any time. Cash payments of $150 for the combined compost/parking stickers will only be accepted Monday through Thursday from 8:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. in the Police Department Clerk’s Office on the second floor of the station.

Residents are reminded that they must bring their driver’s license and the registration for each vehicle for which they would like to purchase a sticker. If the vehicle is leased, they must also bring a copy of their lease agreement. In certain situations, other proof of residency may be required. The Police Department currently does not have the ability to accept debit or credit cards.
