William “Bill” McKenzie King, formerly of Newton and Reading, passed away on December 6, 2022, in the company of his family.
Born and raised in Newton, Massachusetts son of Sadie McKenzie and Thomas Lee King, Bill was predeceased by his wife, Joy, and his older brother, Thomas, Jr. Bill was an Air Force veteran and worked for many years at Honeywell/Bull Information systems. He particularly enjoyed summer in New England, vacationing at York Beach Maine and Bartlett New Hampshire, and going to see the horse racing at Rockingham Park. He loved the Red Sox, retiring to Florida where he could watch spring training and enjoy the warm weather.
He leaves behind his two sons, William and Robert, their wives, and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Tues, Dec 27 at 1 PM in the Eaton & Mackay Funeral Home 465 Centre St Newton Corner.
