Fall Street Faire Committee begins planning for event

READING – Plans for Reading’s annual Fall Street Faire are well underway.  The event, planned for September 11, 2016, will have special meaning this year as it will occur on the fifteenth anniversary of the tragic World Trade Center and Pentagon attacks of 2001.  In a recent interview on RCTV, Street Faire Committee Chair Brian Snell shared that their will be moments of silence at the performance stages, Honor Guards and other remembrances during the event.  “We are still in the planning stages.”  Snell commented.  “But the significance of the day will not be forgotten.”
