Reading, MA — When she opened Whitelam Books in 2017, Liz Whitelam dreamed that one day her little bookstore would be the location of a marriage proposal. Suffice to say, she is a romantic. So every year she looks forward to participating in Bookstore Romance Day, a celebration of romance writers and readers. This year’s celebration is on Saturday, August 19. Whitelam Books will be open 10 – 5:30, and all customers who purchase a romance novel will receive a rose and a free love poem (while supplies last).
Romance readers are invited to pop by and pick up their next great romance novel. Couples are invited to enjoy a unique, fun date together.
