Boston, MA – Baker Newman Noyes (BNN) announced that Yasmeen Kouki, CPA, MST, has joined the firm as a tax manager in the private client services practice. Kouki specializes in tax compliance and planning for individuals, trusts, estates, gifts, family limited partnerships, and private foundations. In this role, she serves a wide array of clients with multi-state and international reporting interests. She is based in the Woburn, Mass. office.

With more than 10 years of experience working with high-net-worth clients, Kouki has technical expertise with a variety of specialized projects, including ISO planning, ROTH conversions, corporate and partnership tax returns, and corporate tax provisions. Before joining BNN, she was a director in the tax group at a Massachusetts-based financial consulting firm.
In addition to her private client tax focus, Kouki has broad experience auditing employee benefit plans and private companies; performing reviews, compilations, and agreed-upon procedures for various small companies; consulting on bookkeeping for small businesses, and performing tax work for flow-through entities and nonprofit organizations.

Kouki earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration, with a concentration in accounting, from Salem State University, and a master’s degree in taxation, focusing on individual and trust/gift taxation, from Northeastern University. She serves on the Essex County Estate Planning Council Board of Directors. She is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants. She resides in Reading, Massachusetts.
