The Art Walk will take place June 1- 26, 2020. The opening reception will be held Wednesday evening from 6-8 PM on June 3, 2020 at the Pleasant Street Center, 49 Pleasant Street, Reading.
Downtown Reading Art Walk (DRAW 01867) Requirements

The theme is “2020 Visions of Serenity”.

Artists, grade 6 to adult, are welcome.

Artwork may be submitted posthumously.

Sum of length + width of artwork not to exceed 42”.

All 2-dimensional media except photography.

Framing is not required, but must be wired for hanging.

A digital image of your artwork (work in progress is fine) with dimensions, title and medium
must be submitted by email to draw01867@gmail.com by May 1, 2020.

The committee reserves the right to reject any artwork not in compliance with the theme or
deemed inappropriate by committee members.

Accepted entries should be brought to the First Congregational Church,
25 Woburn Street, Reading on Tuesday, May 26th from 3 – 8 PM.

All artwork will be part of the Downtown Reading Art Walk to be held
June 1 through June 26, 2020.

No artwork can be removed before June 26, 2020. Artists will be notified by email regarding
the pick-up location, date and time. Art remaining 30 days after this date will become the
property of the DRAW Committee.

Neither the Committee nor any of the venues will be involved in selling of the art.
Potential buyers can contact the artists directly.

Paintings will be digitized for preservation with the intent of being published.
